Hi darlings,

It has been 7 months since 2019, and you know what that means…

It is time to check the process of our 2019 wish list! Usually, I find the pressure to come up with something way too much to deal with and end up not participating in this ritual, however, this year I have decided to give it a try. And I surprisingly find that half of my wish list is done. These little guys really make some major changes in my life, so I would like to share them with you and give you some tips on how to choose your right one.

When outdoor temperatures plummet, moisture and humidity inside your home can quickly drop from pleasant to parched. Replacing moisture via cool or warm mist humidifiers can relieve a host of physical discomforts, from chapped skin to allergy irritations to cold and flu-related symptoms.

For small and medium rooms, tabletop and portable humidifiers are the least expensive, but their small tanks require frequent refills. Make sure your faucet height will accommodate the refill tank. For large spaces, especially near sleeping areas, consider buying a quiet ultrasonic console model.

I would cough a lot at night if the humidity is too low, so I chose a 2.4L ultrasonic one which can last the whole night, help me go through those cold and dry days.

2. Lint Remover

Nothing ruins the look of a favorite sweater quite as much as annoying lint or fuzzy pills all over the fabric. A lint remover is often the only way to make sure that your clothing looks as pristine as possible no matter how many times you’ve worn it.

With this handy little device, you can take the lint and pills off your sweaters, shirts, or pants in a matter of minutes. But if you want a completely lint-free wardrobe, it’s important to choose the right lint remover. That means knowing what size, power type, and other features to look for. With so many different removers on the market, finding the ideal one can be tough.

I would highly recommend this INNObeta Lint Remover to you. Most lint removers only contain 3 blades, but this one comes with 6 blades. With rechargeable batteries, it can be operated cordless and you don’t have to change the batteries frequently. The power is strong enough and the shaving head is larger than the Philips one I have tried before. The looking of this appliance is very nice as well as the price.

3. Dehumidifiers

If you have ever used the words “damp”, “dank”, “fuggy”, “clammy”, or the dreaded “moist” to describe the air in your home, you may need a dehumidifier. High humidity is uncomfortable, can have a negative effect on air quality, and promotes the formation of mold and mildew.

A dehumidifier’s size is determined by its total capacity to remove moisture. Capacity is rated in pints of moisture removed per day, or 24-hour period. So, for example, when you see a “30-pint dehumidifier,” you’re looking at a model that is rated to remove 30 pints of moisture total per day. A dehumidifier’s capacity loosely indicates how large of a space it will cover in square feet. Therefore, if you know the square footage of the area you’d like to dehumidify, you can get a loose idea of the capacity you will need. After using the dehumidifier, no more odors in my closet and I don’t need to worry about my white shirts may get yellow spots anymore.

4. Air Purifier

Indoor air is often more polluted than the air outside. Since we spend most of our time indoors, our exposure to poor indoor air quality puts us at risk for a number of ailments.

Using an air purifier will help create cleaner, healthier air in your home or office, so you can enjoy better indoor air quality.

When choosing an air purifier, first consider your indoor air quality needs. If you’re looking for general air quality improvements, consider models with HEPA filters, or High Efficiency Particulate Air filters, which are proven to eliminate 99.97% of common airborne allergens sized at 0.3 microns and larger. That includes pollen, dust, dust mites, mold spores, ragweed, and pet dander. HEPA air purifiers are regarded as the most effective air purifiers on the market.

To choose the right size air purifier for your needs, consider the square footage of the room you want to purify. You can calculate the square footage by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet and multiplying the 2 numbers together. With this number in hand, find an air purifier with a recommended square foot coverage area that matches your room’s square footage.

5. Handheld Vacuum

A vacuum cleaner is ideal for cleaning a large area rug or a room with wall-to-wall carpet, but they tend to be bulky and heavy and aren’t ideal for many spaces and many kinds of messes. A handheld vacuum is easy to use and can clean up places that a normal vacuum can’t reach, it plays a vital role especially if you have rambunctious pets or kids in the household.

If you need a portable vacuum to clean items on your porch or deck, or in your garage, a corded model may require an extension cord. A cordless hand vac isn’t restricted by cord length or proximity to an electrical outlet, but its runtime is limited, so it won’t clean for more than 10 to 20 minutes, at best, which might not be a long enough time to give your car a thorough once-over.

Do any of you have your wish list done? Would love to hear yours and add them to my list in 2020!
